I believe that birthing people possess their own innate wisdom about their bodies and their babies. Birth is profoundly intimate, and since no two births are alike, the support you receive from me as your doula will be determined by your needs and choices. You will receive access to my resources and reassurance of a back up doula in case that becomes necessary.
30 min Consultation
Because your relationship with your doula is special and intimate, I offer one free consultation to see if we are a good fit and if my services match your needs.
2 Prenatal Visits IN YOUR HOME
These 1.5-2 hour visits take place in your home. We will go over your birth preferences, fears and concerns, the labor process, comfort techniques to use during labor, hospital procedures and protocol (if applicable), plans for postpartum recovery, and nursing. These visits are an opportunity for us to build our relationship before your baby’s birth day. Together we will set intentions for the birth and life afterwards.
24/7 On-Call Availability
From 38 weeks until your baby’s birth day. I am a phone call away. Even at 4am!
Support Thru Labor & Birth
I will be with you offering continuous emotional, physical, and informational support at home and at a hospital or birthing center when you and your partner ask me to join you. I won’t leave until a couple hours post baby’s birth, once you have had something to eat and are comfortable enough for much deserved rest!
1 postpartum visit
We will schedule a visit at home about 1-2 weeks following the birth. I will check in and see how you are doing emotionally and physically, review the birth, offer newborn care and nursing help, and admire your new little one. I am available by phone, text, or email to support you 6 weeks postpartum for anything you might need.
